The collection of six glacial lakes in Gokyo valley are famous and appealing lakes in Everest region. These are originated from glaciers and peaks above and they are major source of river that flows down to the lower valleys.Moreover, a bunch of glaciers nestling at the lap of sky-dominating peaks glorifies the scenery. A rubble-covered Nogzumpa glacier (largest Himalayan Glacier) and massive Khumbu glacier are worth exploring in Everest region. These glaciers are tumbling down slowly so explore them while they are still there.
